Monique Cadle

Founding Partner | she/her

For the last 15 years, Monique has helped people and organizations thrive through her work in management consulting, people operations, as well as non-profit management across sectors and industries. It’s Monique’s belief that without cultivating genuine honesty, respect, and understanding, individuals and organizations limit their potential. She proudly occupies space as a first generation, queer black woman and has made it her life’s work to advocate, establish, and grow inclusive environments. She is called to the work of building connection and breakthroughs across disparate groups. Whether as an advocate for women and girls at the US Agency for International Development, developing and facilitating inclusive leadership programs for Fortune 500 companies, or standing up HR programs and initiatives with diversity, equity, and inclusion at center - the work has always about bringing unseen perspectives to the table to realize a more inclusive and better tomorrow.

Monique advises and challenges CEOs, CHROs, and executive leaders to think big, be bold, and take action to develop policies and practices that authentically commits to inclusion and human development. Monique was the VP of People for Delfi Diagnostics, a unicorn startup in the Life Sciences industry. She worked directly with Anne Wojcicki, CEO of 23andMe, to develop the vision and diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy for the organization (as seen on CNBC) resulting in transformation shifts increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and pushing the corporate call to action for change. 23andMe has increased representation of underrepresented groups by 20% and doubled DEI learning and development investment. Monique and her teams have worked with CEOs at early stage startups to create and define company vision, mission, and values serving as the north star for employees and establishing their talent brand propositions. With her leadership and strategic vision, leaders at Delfi, Front, and GRAIL have shifted from siloed programmatic activities to develop diversity, equity, and inclusion and talent to comprehensive, strategic planning and implementation that integrated diversity, equity, and inclusion into the talent lifecycle.

Her expertise is in talent strategies, diversity, equity, and inclusion, executive coaching, learning and development, and strategic communications. Monique is an Integral Coach who studied and continues to mentor at New Ventures West. She holds a Masters in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelor of Arts in International-Intercultural Studies from Claremont McKenna College. Fitness is her thing, and music makes her sing - she loves running, roller skating, skateboarding, record collecting, and shameless karaoke.
