Brizia has more than 13 years of experience in human resources, training, and organizational development while working in several industries such as automotive manufacturing, higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and restaurants. Having lived and worked in the United States and Mexico, Brizia is not only fully bilingual but also bicultural, she understands the dynamic and ever-changing context around building strong and efficient organizations in both cultures. In her HR roles she has been responsible for implementing and overseeing people development strategies to ensure that the onboarding, training, and employee development plans are effective and meet organizational KPIs. One of Brizia’s main objectives is to create standardized procedures which will help departments and organizations become self-sufficient and reliable, that way employees’ time can be better utilized to develop and grow the business; always using equity and fairness as a base to build more humane organizations.

Brizia is a University of Utah alumuna, she received a bachelor of science in political science with an emphasis in international relations, and a bachelors of arts in speech communications with an emphasis in argumentation and conflict resolution. She is currently working towards a certificate in case management from the school of social work at the University of Utah, and towards a masters in quality systems and productivity from Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM).

When she is not thinking about how to create more efficient and structured procedures to optimized organizations, Brizia is working with human rights groups to contribute to making this a better world for underserved communities. Brizia enjoys running and being in nature.
